Royal Hobart Wine Show & Sydney Royal Wine Show,, Gold Medal,
Swan Valley Wine Show Trophy, Best Dry White Table Wine
Margaret River's coldest summer in five decades created ideal conditions for Sandalford's dry-grown and super low-yielding riesling vines to sparkle, leading to the creation of an intensely lime and cumquat tarred beauty. Yet in spite of this flavour explosion, the wine is bone dry and full of remarkable juiciness and succulence that sit pretty right throughout the finish. Criminally under priced and proof positive that Margaret River is just as capable as its neighbouring cool-climate wines regions of producing exceptional riesling

Clinched many trophies incl.bronze for a Full Bodied Dry White Wine; a very classy wine, buttery and creamy , fermented in high quality oak to produce a wine of real style and substance. On the nose the wine is big and rich with ripe fig and date fruits. Nougatty, vanillin oak and secondary dairy and leesy characters also intermingle with the fruit bouquet. On the palate there is no doubt that this is a full-bodied wine. All the ripe fruit flavours on the nose come through backed up by classic premium French oak. The moderate to high acidity will ensure cellaring for up to ten years.
“ Beautiful Margaret River wine. Rich, flinty through the finish, high in fruit sweetness but controlled and spicy too. Love the fact that there's no alcohol warmth here. Sunny but serious. Lovely sophistication - in a 'less is more' way.
Drink: 2007-2011. 93 points.” Campbell Mattison, The Wine Front, September 5 th 2007.

Element By Sandalford Margaret River Classic White 2008
(Chenin Blanc/Verdelho/Semillon ) - $29.90
Cairns Wine Show, ‘Gold' Medal New Release
This wine has recently been rated by Peter Forestal as the best wine he has tasted in its price category in seven years. A huge gong for our most popular wine. The winemaker Paul Bouldon has transformed an improbable blend of Chenin blanc, Verdelho and Semillion into a zesty, grassy white with intense clean flavours and refreshing zippy acidity . The nose is brimming with cut grass, fresh honeydew melon and a hint of tropical guava. This all translates to the palate with the added zest provided by the natural acid backbone of the fruit. The wine should be served well chilled. Classic White is a great drink just on its own or accompanied with the freshest of foods, particularly seafood
Element By Sandalford Margaret River Chardonnay 2008
(Lightly Oaked) - $29.90 ......
Won Silver at the London Int’l Wine Challenge, the 2006 Element Chardonnay demonstrates why Australia has been so successful in making this style of wine. Up front there are lovely peach and melon flavours whilst the palate fills out with distinctive nougat and vanillin French oak notes. The mouthfeel is round and creamy. This wine, whilst a treat to drink now, will certainly mature well over the next three years.
“A Western Australian blend that's more refined than most of the chardonnays in its price bracket. Clean stone-fruit and spice aromas; lemon citrus notes on a tight, refined palate. Heaps of drink-now appeal.” Good Living – Sydney Morning Herald, 27 February 07 by Huon Hooke.
2008 Element Late Harvest ( Verdelho,Chenin Blanc,Riesling) - $29.90 ( 750ml )
This wine is perfect for people seeking a sweet white wine without excessive cloying or high alcohol. Strictly speaking this is not a dessert wine but given the level of sweetness the wine should be well chilled at all times. The perfect food matches with this style of wine are spicy Indian sub-continental and Asian dishes. Strangely enough this wine will cellar well but is best consumed whilst young and fresh
