It has aromas of cedar combined with plummy/chocolate characters. Very complex.
The palate is finely structured with well balanced tannins and acid. Full bodied plum and blackcurrant fruit flavours with layers of fine grained oak giving a vanillin and cedar finish of great length and complexity. Shows excellent maturation character that only comes from extended barrel time. The Brigstock has an outstanding cellaring future of 15 to 20 years
